Background: Much of Dr West's history is quite a mystery, mostly because people would try to avoid extended contact with the Prodigy on Paper due to the sheer volume of his eccentricities. But what is known is that Dr West was always had a hand at inventing despite his antics. Some time in his youth (it is honestly unknown JUST how old Dr West is. Do you WANT to ask him?), he had developed the West Style Super Electron Barrier - a device that was worn on one's back that provided a protective field of such surprising strength that a man can be unscathed when caught in the blast of an explosion from a nuclear warhead.

The Circumstances behind his employment by the Black Lodge are just as shrouded in mystery. He had no ability with magic unlike the true members of the Lodge (i.e. the ones that aren't faceless masked henchmen) and considering his many battles with Kurou Daijuuji and Al Azif - with the Deus Machina Demonbane - had always had an abyssmal rate of success no matter how many times it looked like he came close to pulling a win, one has to wonder why he's kept around, or why he even joined in the first place.

There are several possibilities: That Dr West joined the Lodge solely for the funds for his projects and the chance to put them to full use, that the Lodge employed him to make use of his prodigious skills, that Master Therion only did it because it amused him... what is known though is that Dr West joined the Lodge under his own power with absolutely no influence by any beings, eldrich or otherwise.

Of course, if a person has a multistorey robot that is all but unstoppable (by conventional methods) - who wouldn't want to run amok and cause utter chaos in a city?

Personality: Doctor West is for the lack of better term - Ham Personified. He is on the same level, if not more so of pure unadulterated hamminess as Michael Wilson. Calling him eccentric and arrogant would be saying that water is only a little wet, and saying he's clever would be like saying the sun's just a little warm. As for common sense, well that's another story altogether, one that isn't appearing in this movie very much.

Doctor West is tremendously flamboyant, intensely fixated on grand gestures, attention grabbing entrances and a style that one can truly call his own. His very appearance itself is as loud and attention grabbing as his personality - that is to say it punches you in the eyes and makes you want to crawl away as quickly as possible because of just how RIDICULOUS things happen to be. His every entrance or introduction is never without the signature riff of his guitar - and it has become a habit for him to use it to punctuate what be believes are moments that require more of his brand of brilliance.

He is given to truly massive amounts of Melodrama, not chewing the scenery as much as completely rampage through it like Godzilla through Tokyo unleashing radioactive fire breath everywhere. Practically everything out of his mouth is so hysterically over the top its hard to ever take this man seriously - even when he's being genuinely threatening with a giant robot that towers over entire buildings spitting out destruction all over the place. The fact that he is also given into going off into tangents regarding himself for any number of reasons only adds to the sheer ridiculousness of his very dialogue.

Doctor West is also undeniably egocentric - easily offended by even the weakest insult, and often enjoys putting himself on a pedestal and speaking at length of his brilliance, expertise and how much lower on the food chain everyone is compared to him - despite various incidents of him getting his rear end routinely handed to him in and out of his machine. He also as mentioned before has a tremendous lack of common sense, forgetting things that any other man or woman would know to include beforehand - like waterproofing for his Destroyer Robot when he plans to hide it in salt water - whether its because he's too caught up on his own ego or if he's generally that absent minded, things are truly uncertain (Spoilers: Its probably both).

However despite his tendency to ham things up and his many MANY flaws, people also tend to forget one vital fact - That every bit of his arrogance and constant self praise is completely well deserved. His mastery of science and technology is practically unmatched in the universe of Demonbane - and his creations, despite their constant tendency to get destroyed - always manage to keep up with Demonbane despite lacking any magical components (With the exception of DemonPAIN - the copy he made of Demonbane. The fact that he was able to mimic the design to such a degree alone speaks of his prowess). When things get serious, he is unbelievably competent and can provide just the right mechanical solution one needs. The best way to describe Dr West is 99% Hilarious, 1% Serious, 100% Awesome.

Capabilities and Resources: Dr West despite all his eccentricities is an amazing engineer, technichian and scientist - The Type 28 Destroyer Robots were all but handcrafted by him, and his talents extend beyond mecha as well (Forcefield backpacks capable of resisting point blank nuke explosions come to mind). In the span of three days he was able to essentially COPY Demonbane right down to the ability to utilize Timaeus and Critias - as well as the Atlantis Strike (though the Lemuria Impact was a different cup of tea altogether) as well as develop the fully sentient ridiculously human yet immensely lethal gynoid - Elsa. Given his later work involving Demonbane itself it is highly likely that the majority of those three days were spent developing Elsa than Demonpain. He's also handy with a guitar, an excellent motorbike rider and downright unkillable given that he somehow survived the Lemuria Impact. If it were not for his eccentricities, Dr West would horrifically break several games at once, a thousand times over.

Robot Name: Super West Invincible Destroyer Robot Type 28 -Insert Random Hammy Name/Title Here as appropriate for each time the Destroyer Robot gets its ass kicked-
Robot Description: A giant robot.... that resembles an oversized drum can. However it is worthwhile to note that despite its hilariously impractical appearance, the Type-28 Destroyer Robot series are made of huge, armor and more weapons than you can believe, and if one thinks that its slow simply because of its sheer size - then you would find yourself mistaken very quickly because for a hulking mass of Dakka, it can close the distance with you at alarming speeds.

Against conventional weaponry the Type 28 is capable of resisting massive amounts of damage - meaning that it would take overwhelming force and/or clever tactics in order to make it a non issue (Both work well considering Dr West's personality and mentality). In order to put its durability in perspective, the earliest seen version was able to take beam cannon blasts with relative ease and only took moderate damage after receiving a kick from Demonbane that had been made from high altitude which sent the Type-28 through multiple buildings.

In terms of offensive power the Type 28 is fully loaded to devastate entire cities - most of which is mainly used to wreak havoc on Arkham. The machine is loaded with uncountable amounts of cannons, beam guns and missile launchers - and to top it off it has laser eyes as well. In terms of close range ability - its current iteration has four massive drill arms - each one capable of devastating mecha with relative ease unless they are made of something insanely durable or have some kind of powerful defensive ability.

The Drills themselves are capable of downright insane feats - capable of igniting the air with friction from spinning at full speed, unleashing tremendous gusts of wind that could draw opponents in from the sheer pressure or blow them away literally, unleashing powerful energy blasts from the drills and lastly - unleashing a devastating close range attack, either either by striking from above or below with enough force to potentially one shot unsuspecting targets. /Potentially/.

Terrain Stats:
Land: A
Air: C
Sea: D (C once he actually remembers to rustproof it)
Space: B

Upgrades:

If Dr West were to somehow get his hands on some loose Grimore pages, he will be able to rebuild Demonpain. The information regarding Demonpain will be included in a seperate journal once the Demonbane plot advances far enough.

Job: The Greatest Genius of Science of All Time. Ever. (When he's not being stupid.)

Suggested Event List: Events are mostly tied to the list on Aero's Kurou account.
